Dr. Usman Naqi, DVM

As the founder of Glenkirk Animal Hospital, Dr. Usman Naqi has made it his mission to bring high-quality veterinary care to the Gainesville community. Kelsey Ryan

Veterinary Assistant

Kelsey is a Veterinary Assistant at our clinic and has been part of the team since 2022. She recently transitioned to full-time after earning her bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech and is currently gaining valuable experience in preparation for veterinary school, which she plans to begin in Fall 2026. Kelsey is passionate about providing compassionate patient care and is excited to continue developing her skills across multiple areas of veterinary medicine. She has a strong love for animals and is dedicated to helping pets live healthy, happy lives. Outside of the clinic, Kelsey enjoys trying new recipes and traveling whenever she has the opportunity.

Christopher Sprinkle

Veterinary Assistant

Christopher is a Veterinary Assistant and Social Media Manager at our clinic and has been part of the team since 2024. He has always had a strong passion for animals and began pursuing his interest in the veterinary field at a young age. At just eight years old, he started his own dog treat business to save money for his first dog, which sparked his long-term interest in animal care. Christopher began gaining hands-on experience in 2022 while volunteering at Hope & Serenity Farm Sanctuary, where he continues to dedicate his time today. He is currently pursuing his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a Biology minor at the University of Maryland Global Campus and looks forward to continuing to grow within the animal health field. Outside of the clinic, Christopher enjoys golf, soccer, and going on new adventures.

Daniela Garcia

Veterinary Assistant

Daniela is a Veterinary Assistant at our clinic and joined the team in Spring 2025. She has always known she wanted to work with animals and was inspired at a young age by her dad, who often brought home rescues and encouraged her passion for animal care. Daniela graduated from Virginia Tech with a bachelor’s degree in Animal and Poultry Sciences, with a double emphasis in companion and equine studies. During her undergraduate years, she gained hands-on experience while working at the Virginia Tech barns, where she was exposed to many areas of veterinary medicine. Daniela hopes to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician working with both small and large animals. Outside of the clinic, Daniela enjoys spending time with her pets, being with family, and exploring new food spots.

Izzy Vaught

Veterinary Assistant

Izzy is a Veterinary Assistant at our clinic and joined the team in September 2025. She has always had a passion for working with animals and began gaining hands-on experience at just three years old while helping care for horses and cows on her family’s farm. Izzy is currently enrolled in the Penn Foster Veterinary Technician program and is working toward becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She hopes to one day use her skills to work with wildlife and contribute to the care and conservation of animals. Outside of the clinic, Izzy enjoys spending time on her family farm, golfing, fishing, and being outdoors.

Paola Solis

Veterinary Assistant

Paola is a Veterinary Assistant at our clinic and joined the team in January 2026. She is currently pursuing a biology degree at George Mason University while also completing a Veterinary Technology program with the goal of becoming an Equine Veterinarian. Paola has always had a strong love for animals, and her passion extends beyond the clinic, where she cares for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, horses, and goats. She enjoys meeting new patients and helping support their overall health and wellbeing. Outside of the clinic, Paola enjoys traveling, competing in horse shows, and spending time on trail rides.
